The historic Real Club de Golf El Prat is the venue for the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship, a new tournament on the official DP World Tour schedule that will bring together the best players in Barcelona from May 7-10.

The Pink Course at RCG El Prat will be the stage for the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship. Designed by Greg Norman, it perfectly combines a technical challenge for professionals with outstanding natural beauty, ensuring an enjoyable experience for both players and spectators.

Parking & Travel


 Information about parking and travel: how to get to the event?

  • Go to the Real Club de Golf El Prat and follow the signs for the event to the corresponding parking lot.
  • Spectators can park free of charge in the public car park located alongside the tee of the 14th hole of the Green Course (Par 5, Hole 3 of the Vallès Course). From there, shuttle buses will take them to the tournament’s main entrance.

Bus schedules to and from the Public Parking:

There will be regular buses from the public parking lot to the main entrance of the tournament for all spectators.

  • Thursday and Friday: from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: approximately from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Car parks and services for people with reduced mobility

  • Specific parking spaces accessible to people with reduced mobility will be reserved in the BLUE parking lot. To access them, follow the signs to the BLUE parking lot, where you will be asked for your blue badge or EU equivalent and given directions to the correct parking area.
  • There will be viewing areas reserved for people with reduced mobility at the 1st tee, the 10th tee, and the 18th green.
  • There will be toilets for people with reduced mobility in the shopping area and the 10th hole area.

Taxi service

There will be a reserved area for picking up and dropping off passengers at the roundabout at the entrance to the Real Club de Golf El Prat.

Spectator FAQs


One round will be played on each of the first two days. The top 65 players (and those tied for 65th place) will make the cut and advance to the final two rounds.

The welcome tent is the main entrance to the championship. The following facilities will be located near the welcome tent:

• You must try to remain still with each stroke, without moving until all players in the group have played or finished the hole.

• We kindly ask spectators to crouch down, kneel, or sit down if they are in the front row. It is important to consider other spectators when using umbrellas.

• Do not talk to players while they are on the course.

• Stay behind the ropes and barriers along the route and use the official crossing points.

• When moving around, walk, don’t run, and obey the marshals on the course: they are trying to make your day more enjoyable.

• There is no dress code in public areas.

• The weather may affect the tournament schedule. Be prepared for the forecasted weather conditions.

• Clothing should be adapted to weather conditions. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Footwear with metal spikes is not permitted.

• Please pay attention to announcements made over the PA system and follow the instructions of the organizers and volunteers if necessary.

• If you hear someone shout “fore,” protect yourself from a possible stray ball (for example, by ducking or covering your head and face).

• Be careful of uneven ground on the golf course. Make sure you wear appropriate footwear.

If it is necessary to evacuate the field, follow the instructions of the volunteers and tournament organizers in an orderly manner.

The Pro-Am day is closed to the general public.

Practice days prior to the tournament are not open to the public. From Thursday to Sunday, spectators will be able to watch the players on the practice range (its location will be clearly marked).

The chief marshal and his team will manage the volunteer program for the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship. Volunteers are essential in supporting the marshals in their task of managing crowd movements on the course and ensuring that play proceeds without incident.

Volunteers are identified by their event uniforms.

Spectators at the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship will have access to the Real Club de Golf El Prat shop, located in the fan village, during the tournament.

Picnics/picnic baskets are not permitted. Alcoholic beverages are also not permitted on the premises.

The tournament’s commercial area will have public catering services offering a wide variety of food and beverages. There will also be public restrooms in this area.

Along the route, spectators will also find catering points and restrooms at holes 3, 7, and 13.

Giant screens will be installed for spectators in both the shopping area and the 18th hole.

The use of cell phones is permitted, but restricted to areas identified as “cell phone zones” on event signage. Calls may only be made or received in these zones. In addition, phones must be kept on silent mode at all times.
