A superb win for Yurav Premlall at the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship held at the Real Club de Golf El Prat, with Alejandro del Rey finishing as the top Spaniard! The South African debuted as DP World Tour winner against a star-studded field that included 24 Spanish golfers.

A great success at this tournament held at the Real Club de Golf El Prat, the Barcelona venue that has already hosted twelve European Tour/DP World Tour events and whose pink course provided an impeccable setting throughout the four days of competition.

This tournament marked the first step on the Road to the 2031 Ryder Cup, a competition which will be held in Catalonia for the first time and in Spain for the second time that year. The world’s most important team golf tournament will then take place at the nearby Camiral resort.
